The school library team met with Mr Charles Flynn from the Manx Wildlife Trust and retired teacher Heather Hurt today when they visited the school to donate a beautiful book to the school. The book, called 'The Lost Words', includes poems and fantastic illustrations of wildlife words that are slowly disappearing from our language and writing - such as bramble, blackberry and raven. The librarians had lots of questions for our visitors! All primary schools on the island are receiving a copy of the book which will be a great addition to all school libraries.
