ONCHAN NEWS: This week, we designed and created our own parachutes to test air resistance. The aim of our investigation was 'Does the size of a parachute affect how long it takes to fall?'. We created 3 different sized parachutes, dropped them from the same height and recorded the time it took. There were some fantastic analysis of test results at the end which concluded that the larger the parachute the slower it took to fall to the ground. Have a look at some photos!
