St Thomas' C of E Primary School website: These children have been learning about plastic pollution, and have been thinking of creative ways to reuse different items to save them from becoming waste. In maths, we have used plastic bottle tops to help us with lots of our maths targets. We have been practicing counting in groups, ordering numbers, division and handling data - for example making bar charts and Venn diagrams. The children have also used the bottle tops to create their own games for practicing multiplication tables. The lids are far too useful to throw in the bin!
