Year 6 went to a Manx National Heritage Workshop called ‘Every Picture Tells a Story’. It was an exhibition of the work of William Hoggatt. After looking around the exhibition and discussing some of the particular techniques and themes Hoggatt used, the children chose their favourite painting and were asked to create their own stories using their painting as a stimulus.
