ONCHAN NEWS: Over the past couple of weeks we have been learning about comics in Year 2. We read lots of examples and discussed the different features we could see. Next, we tried to turn Jack and the Beanstalk into a comic strip. We worked very hard in our groups and are proud of what we achieved!
To finish our comic learning we planned our own story and turned it into a comic strip. All of our comics are interesting to read and use lots of the expected features, for example speech bubbles, captions and onomatopoeia.
Our comic strips have been put together in one class book, so we can all enjoy reading each others in our class reading area.
