We were delighted to welcome Chris from Isle of Play to the school this morning! He spoke to all the children in the school during two fun-filled assemblies, telling them all about the Isle of Play Moneybox Appeal. The challenge is to fill each moneybox in support of Isle of Play - but the Isle of Play guys are keen for the children to earn the money themselves to fill the box! Suggestions so far have included helping out with chores, walking the dog, setting up a lemonade stall or selling unwanted toys.
As well as that, the children have been asked to decorate the moneybox - and the best decorated moneybox out of all participating schools will win a whole day of Isle of Play for their school!
The box should be returned to the school in the week after the October half-term and the lucky winner announced soon after - don't forget to make sure your child's name and school are on the bottom of the box!
