Brastyl Barrule have quickly got used to their new routines and have packed lots in to the first days of term! We have started our first topic, based on packaging, with an analysis of what makes a good lunchbox. We have been testing the properties of different materials and will be using our results to help design the ultimate lunch carrier. In Maths we have been working in groups on place value and the number system. We are establishing reading groups, based on our initial assessments. In music we will be working on rhythm, body percussion and music from Brazil. In Sport we will be trying out rugby skills. If you have any questions, just grab us at the end of the day when we come out to the yard with the children. Look in the Brastyl Barrule gallery for pictures of what we have been getting up to.
