Reception and Year One children made this beautiful up-cycled flower quilt from pre-loved clothing and a duvet cover. Everyone drew on the leaves to make them more interesting and realistic and the children who wanted to learn to sew, using a real needle, made the flowers. The children even sewed the buttons on which was really, really tricky. You can go to see it at our local church when the Flower Festival is open to the public.
