Year 4 are in the process of creating a community vegetable plot in the Ferry Boat Garden. They have been busy weeding the beds and taking any waste to the compost bins. They’ve planted lots of different types of yummy vegetables including peas, carrots, radishes, lettuce, cucumbers, courgettes and runner beans. It is hoped that the children and their families help to maintain this during the summer holidays. They’ll eventually be able to take home what they’ve grown!
