Year 4 were delighted to welcome Conor's Grandad in to talk all about his experiences as a T.T. Rider. Dave Madsen-Mygdal has been racing on the Island since 1979, and at the TT since 1985. The children thoroughly enjoyed the question and answer session in which Dave told us all about his fastest lap at the TT (122mph), and his fastest ever speed (181mph). He also brought his winning TT Trophy, and some of the many replica trophies riders get when completing a race within a percentage time of the winner or in the top 10. Dave also brought his 650cc blue Kawasaki bike that he will be competing on in this years T.T. Dave has completed over 123 TT races! That is more than any other rider in the history of the TT. Look out for his blue Kawasaki this year if you are going to watch the races! Good luck Dave from all of Year 4 and everyone at Onchan School!
