On the 29th of January we had a special non-uniform day to remember our student Jack who sadly passed away last year. Jack was the brother of Ella Whorrall and a pupil in the Inclusive Learning Centre (ILC).

This day was a celebration of his life and we asked all students to wear blue. Blue is the colour used when promoting Autism Awareness and was also one of Jack’s favourite colours.

We started the day with a special assembly followed by lots of different activities we know Jack would have enjoyed. The ILC sold cupcakes at tuck shop. Lunch was sausages and chips or a baked potato as these were two of Jack’s favourite meals.
