This year, Onchan School is excited to be playing their part in the initiative "Wallabies gone Wild", which is being supported by Hospice Isle of Man. Each year we strive to support a local charity, we saw this as a great opportunity to raise awareness of Hospice and get the children involved in an Island wide event.

"Wallabies gone Wild" will run from May to September 2019. Residents and visitors will be able to go wallaby hunting in search of large wallaby sculptures which will be hidden across the Island. This will be a great chance to go exploring our beautiful Island, whilst having fun!

Today, our School Council met with Hospice to donate money raised from our Christmas productions. They were also very excited to take delivery of two medium wallaby sculptures which have taken up residency in school. We would like to extend a big thank you to anyone who generously contributed towards the collections. You have helped raise an amazing £930 for Hospice!
