As part of our topic 'Incredible India', the Wolves and Panthers classes researched, planned and prepared a delicious Indian feast. We enjoyed two types of vegetable curry, each class making one to share with the other, exploring and adding spices to enhance the flavours. Alongside, we tried rice, naan, chapatti, Bombay mix, mango chutney, fresh mango, dried figs, fresh figs, mango juice and pomegranate juice.
We put our research into Indian traditions and culture into action by removing our shoes, making banana leaves to use as plates, sitting on the floor and eating with our hands! We took turns to serve food to our friends while listening to Bollywood music!
