During yesterday's assembly, we were delighted to welcome in Hector Duff, who visited to present the school with a World War II gunner display model. The model will take pride of place in the school's trophy cabinet and will provide a poignant symbol for all children to reflect upon. On behalf of everyone at Ashley Hill, I'd like to pass on our thanks to Hector for this. During the assembly, Hector spoke of the importance of remembering those who had given so much for our future freedom.
