VICTORIA ROAD SCHOOL: To mark the Centenary of the end of WW1, Miss Neilson and Mrs Faragher along with the support of pupils and staff have created a remembrance display in school. We would like to thank Miss Neilson and Mrs Faragher for all the time they have spent working on this project and the pupils and staff for all of the donations of plastic bottles that were used to create this beautiful display of poppies. All of the reminds from the plastic bottles have been recycled as part of our commitment to reducing single use plastics waste. The display has also been entered in to the Royal British Legion Poppy Competition sponsored by Tower Insurance.
